An update from your Neighbourhood Policing Team |
||
|
Dear residents,
In April, we set three local priorities – Burglary, road safety and road traffic offences, and drug dealing and drug misuse. These were based on what local people told us concerned them most in their neighbourhood, as well as local crime statistics and information from our partners (such as the local council) These priorities have been the focus of much of our work and below is an update about some of the work we have been doing to tackle them over the last three months in the South West sector of Northampton. This includes the areas of Delapre and Rushmere, Duston and Sixfields, and the surrounding areas.
Here's an update on our work to tackle local priorities from April to June 2026:
Burglary Neighbourhood officers continue to support specialist burglary investigators by carrying out house-to-house enquiries, conducting leaflet drops and providing crime prevention advice to residents and businesses.
Drug dealing and drug misuse We have executed two warrants at addresses across the area, both of which had positive outcomes. One conditional caution has been issued, and one case is awaiting a charging decision.
Road safety and road traffic offences
Everyone who lives or works in Northamptonshire is invited to tell us about any local issues that concern them and the easiest way to do this is by completing our survey
Your feedback is really important and we appreciate you taking the time to share your views with us.
